Is Lisa Su related to Jensen Huang?

Jensen and Lisa are not related. Lisa Tzwu-Fang Su was born in Tainan, Taiwan. She was born in a Taiwanese Hokkien-speaking family. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 3 with her parents Su Chun-hwai and Sandy Lo.

Huang was born in Tainan, Taiwan. His family emigrated to the United States when he was 9 years old, first living in Oneida, Kentucky, and settling in Oregon, where he graduated from Aloha High School just outside Portland.

Jen-Hsun from Nvidia is Amd Lisa Su’s uncle. They’re competitors and family at the same time. Maybe one told the other at a family meeting about their plans and so the other was forced to make such good GPUs.

Su and Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang have been described as “distant relatives” according to Su.
